HQ Section.

Finished off the HQ Section yesterday.

The options for the Dark Apostle, on the Chaos Codex side of the army, I swapped the Wolf Priest head onto the dark apostle mini, and had to find a head that worked on the Wolf Priest, the little guys might be coming down to Warhammer World later this month.

The not Harkan World Claimer. His trophy racks broke off when the jump pack went under the sofa. I've only added Fang highlighting on this as I like the idea off his small section of the army descending from a storm wracked sky the exhaust pipes and burners from the engines the only sign of trouble coming. After looking at the Raptors box I'm going to hold off until we get either Mk4 or mk6 Heresy jump troops and get a squad of 10 of those and 5 raptors as all of that fracking trim on them.

Kharen is now waiting for her Jakhals to arrive, which is May I think.
Björn The Betrayer was again just a simple head swap, that has worked rather well.
Now do I grab a Kharne on the 21st and give him Greigor's power claw?

I got the Berzerkers, legionaries and havoc/long fangs out of the box to get started as well as finding the right arms for the watcher in the Dark.

One I'm particularly happy with is this guy using the Dane Axe from the Space Wolf Terminators kit.

The little guy's arms have been glued in place.
Beliel was a surprise. I had an old box of Terminator bits that went missing for over a year. I think I used the arms on the heavy Intercessor Captain Beliel conversion I know I've done.
The left handed storm bolter is metal, not sure which kit gave me that arm, the sword I've had for ages and just needed an arm that would work on it.
Currently working on the Berzerkers, Beliel and the Watcher in the Dark, with the long fangs/Havocs waiting on the table with the other 5 to be built.
I'm baking tomorrow and getting most of the trim done on the Berzerkers with a copper pen a mate had ordered for me, which is why some of the trim looks slightly different.

The HQ Section.

In this week's choice there's the various options for the Wolf Pack.
There's Björn The Betrayer, the Astartes that broke 2 Legions.
After the Night Of The Wolf and Angron was returned to Terra in chains and the World Eaters became the War Hounds again, Björn took the weapons of the 8th Assault Company Captain, his last kill on that infamous day.
Over the course of the Great Crusade the Wolves under the command of Björn grew wilder and wilder, his command becoming referred to as the Cursed 7th.
The Warmaster would request the 7th Great Company for assault operations, growing more frequent in his request post Davin.

Just the plasma pistol arm and power pack to do.

Kharen.

Kharen was a Wargames Exclusive mini, the weapons are done, a couple of bits on the face to do.

The Harkan World Claimer is going to be a Sgt in a Raptors squad, I like the idea of this squad being the first in, deciding on trails of flame, the pipes on the jump packs glowing.
Highlights will be the Fang grey.

The Wolf Priest mini is an alternative Dark Apostle, I just need to find a decent head for it, and finish the skull on the pack and the fur.

The Dark Apostle mini is a huge pain to paint but once, but I know when I get it finished it's going to look great

The acolytes might appear down at Warhammer World. There is just a few more things to do.
