Reivers!
And the last 2 nights work, started the squad yesterday with an ushabati bone base coat on all 6 Reivers, the 5 for the Hounds then got a coat of screaming skull and lastly a nuln oil wash, it was time to call it a night after. Tonight I brought the paints I needed to get second Sgt painted up for the Star Leopards and got the XV -88 base coat on before giving the squad a 2nd screaming skull coat. Once everything was dry the leopard got a coat of Tau Ocher before giving it a layer of troll slayer orange, with bits picked out in blue, the chest skull is green for the 3rd Company and all pouches are black.
The Hounds squad got 2 thin coats of white on, with the pouches and belts being brown to match all the rest, grenades are green and the skull and belt are picked out with brass scorpion. I still need to do the bases, squad markings and chapter badge but I want to double check with the squad I already have before painting and basing so everything matches and I can run them as a squad of 10.

A Bit More Ablative Armour
A day off happened and a day shift happened,so my normal sleep pattern was all over the place. Rather than spend all night hunting that last species of fish in Red Dead Redemption 2 I got on with the Death Guard dread, I trimmed another of the plates from the Blight Hauler sprue, trimming it down and filing it so it fitted smoothly. There is a small gap at the back of the front plate, that I was able to cover with the cut off sections from the second plate.
When I get round to finishing this I'll be adding a green stuff Glais to the frontal armour, but that's looking like it'll be for the Monthly Vow from March to April, as I'll have 4 Casterferrum dreads to paint, 2 Redemptor dreads to build and paint, there's also the 3 old school squat, metal chucks that I'm converting to Boltstorm Aggressors and one special buy that a guy on Facebook does that's the old metal chuck but scaled up. So that's 10, if my cash is good I'll be picking up a 3rd Redemptor if I can find one in another shop as I've promised one to the guy that is buying the Conquest magazines off me, so if I can afford it, it'll 3 Redemptor Dreadnoughts taking it up to 11 dreads in a Dread Filled Month.

Finished Flamestorm Aggressors
Finished off the flamestorm Aggressors at home over the last couple of days. I gave them all another light coat of Tau Ocher before giving them a very light coat of troll slayer orange. I decided on these being from the 3rd Company as the green and white contrasts against the dun orange of the armour. I then did the chest eagles wings in black as the cabling on the mk4 is black as well before doing the eye lenses, ropes and fuel lines and in temple Guard blue.
My subscription to Conquest arrived yesterday so I'm planning to get the next 5 Reivers painted.

Potentially?
With the plans for a Dread Filled Month still kind of nebulous, March to April most likely, I'm looking to make the Death Guard dread stand out a bit from the regular box nought, to which end I spent an hour or so filing the chaos icons of the front of a Conquest Blight Hauler and then has a look to see how much work it'll need to fit comfortably on the dreadnaught hull.
The question is though do I keep the mud guards on the shoulders?

Flamestorm Aggressors For The Star Leopards
Re-enforcements for a long forgotten Chapter, the Star Leopards, they only got one mention in a tiny bit of fiction when their 3rd Company attack a troupe of Harlequins to reclaim a stolen Land Raider.
I did a few units last year for a small Inquisition army after I'd bought and painted a Land Raider for my Harlequins, and now with some spare minis incoming from Conquest I'm adding a couple of squads of Intercessors, Hellblasters and Inceptors to this in the hopes of getting enough units together to refight that old battle. If I get enough of the Redemptor dreads I'll be adding one of them as well.
Still need another coat of Tau Ocher on them and then all the detailing to do.

Cypher And The Librarian
Finally remembered the yellow for the hair tonight and also magnetised her arms as I'm imagining they'd break really easily.
The Terminator Librarian just needs the face touching up and a hand sourced

Via Varaks and The Inner Circle, as should be obvious I'm a big DA fan hence this post.
Book 9 seminar care of Garro.
Thramas Crusade.
Full scale war across a swath of space...Chondax, even Signus etc... are campaigns, but Thramas is a war in terms of scale.
The First Legion is the most powerful fighting force in the galaxy for quite some time essentially until the rise of the Ultramarines and centuries of attrition finally set in.
Full list of Dark Mechanicum.
Additional details on Night Lords.
