I've been waiting for this week for a since I finished off the Contemptor of Contagion, Wednesday Typhus comes with Conquest, I've already sold one to a guy in America and 1 to a guy in Japan, which leaves me 1 to play around with. This Contemptor had already had a bit of work done on it as it came with 2 Kheres assault cannons so I've had to buy a ccw for it, as you can see I've already filed den the body of this to remove the molded decoration and head, I'll be taking more out when I get hold of the sprue and can see what else I need to do to get it to fit. I'm really looking forward to this.

Seeing Clearly

Just got back from an eye test and it was abundantly clear I need glasses, so next month's budget is reduced, which isn't a big problem as I've got the dread filled month in October and several Conquest booty items to paint.

Bit Of A Palette Cleanser

Bit of a palette cleanser, I had intended to use this as a base for the Typhus Contemptor but it looks to nice to do that with. Out the back was the best light at the time I took the first lot of photos.

Next 3 Boltstorm Aggressors

Took a day off yesterday, only really got out the next squad of Boltstorm Aggressors, will be painting them up over the coming week, after these there's 10 Reivers a Librarian and a Terminator squad.

The Boltstorm Aggressors Get A New Home

With the latest marine Codex out and partially digested I thought I'd shuffle some stuff around between the armies. The Hounds, having had its dreadnought Cadre corrupted, have lost their boltstorm Aggressors and Reivers re-assigned to The Lion's Blades. The first squad of 3, the long legged version, have had a simple black re-paint, with red detailing.

Completed Mortis

Had a birthday this week my youngest is no longer young. Got the hands sorted for the Mortis Casterferrum dread yesterday.

One hand had a base of ushabati bone ten the screaming skull and finally a couple of coats of Deepkin Flesh, the other hand had a base coat of Wazdakka red, evil Sunz Scarlet and then wild rider red.

Second Company's 4th Squadron

With a thank you to the chap in Japan that's buying Conquest off me who agreed to swop 2 bases for the older style I was able to get the 4th Squadron finished, just need a second coat of screaming skull on the base rim to call the squad done.
