Reworking The Chaplain Dreadnought

Reworked the Chaplain Dreadnought at last, its still a WIP as I mixed up the shin plates and have 2 left leg plates, I also need a thumb for it.

Tomb Banshee

I started this one the other night with 2 coats of ushabati bone, I gave the robes a wash of agrax earthshade, once dry I gave the dress a coat of palid witch flesh, almost a dry brush than a coat of paint. I gave the skin a coat of deepkin flesh, when that was dry I gave the skin a couple of coats of camoshade, then left it there.

I picked this up again tonight with a dry brush of white scar on the dress and the collar, I also picked out the hair and teeth with white scar as well. The hair was given a base coat of dawnstone, then administraum grey with a highlight of celestia grey, I lastly picked out the edges and a few strands with deepkin flesh.

Super Moon April 2020

I was a bit naughty tonight and sneaked over the road from my house to get a good look at the Super Pink Moon, it had lost the reddish hue by the time I got out though, I had a mess around in the settings as well, still need some practice with that.

Secuitors And Something Big

The 3 extra Secuitors got finished the other day, before I cleaned the kitchen and then let myself start on the Necron Knight again.

After a couple of missteps, I put the control throne options out to offer on Facebook and the first couple of replies opted for the smaller throne from the Tomb Blade rather than the larger Command barge throne, it's been magnetised so once the cowls have been securely green stuffed on I can see how it looks and decide for certain.

Knight Questor

I've been painting this one today, got the robe done the night at work, with a couple of bits done today.

The theme I'm aiming for with this army is a breaking dawn, the army arrives riding lightning bolts, I think I've managed to get fairly close to my source image for the dawn with this one.

Knight Questor And Secuitors

I was aiming for a breaking dawn look on the Questor robes, I'm planning on giving the robes another dry brush with the flash git yellow and dig out the yellow dry brush paint I've got buried in the spare paint box *, before I move onto the armour.

The Secuitors just need the gold and armour colours doing. * the spare paint box

2 More Castigators

Finally got these started, I had intended to have had them done over the weekend but ended up doing the second Grave yard. While I had been looking for the purple for those black roses I came across the aveland sunset, which I thought would be worth a try on the robes of the Stormcast to give a better blend between the tau ocher and flash git yellow, which I think has worked really well.
