Berzerkers And The Finecast Beliel

 

Last week I mostly did the Khorne Berzerkers for the Wolf Pack. I also found the fine cast Beliel I'd bought years ago, used the arms on something else, put the body in a box and forgot the box.

This week is looking like I'm getting the Long Fangs/ Havocs done Fang and crimson wash done, with copper trim done on one of the 5. Looking at doing end of the month on the 13th to let me get this squad finished

The Beliel has a metal arm that I've had in the bits box for ages, a spare Tartarus arm and the sword was from the same box the Beliel was in. 

The watcher in the Dark was in 2 separate boxes, one box had the body, the Beliel box had the census. 

The 10 Berzerkers, I started this lot by blu tacking the arms on to 10 different pots so I could get to the body better.

They had the Fang base coat and crimson wash done then the copper pen trim. {even  with the pen I'm not doing 10 raptors} 

The next bit was covering slips with the Russ layer and then chains and skulls, chains and straps had an iron warrior base and the skulls had an ushabati bone base, both got a sepia wash, the metal bits had a lead Belacher high light the skulls got screaming skull highlights.

The weapons got iron warrior, nuln oil then lead belcher highlight.

This guy with Dane axe is a favourite from this squad. 

All finished. The squad is done, and packed up, the next squad is going to be the Havocs/long fangs.

Not that you can make much out here. The Fang base coat and crimson wash was done on all 5, got the copper trim done on 1 before I had to get packed up to go to work. I'm aiming to get this squad finished by Friday, this means this month is getting at least an extra day if not 2.

The Finecast Beliel and watcher in the Dark were done around the Berzerkers as colours used on 1 were also used on the other.

I haven't got this guy out of the box but will try & root for him this week to add a wraith bone coat to the armour at the weekend.
