Wulfen Mutilaters

 Finished these off today, while I was waiting for the post man, who'd been unable to deliver the set of these I'd had to buy from ebay as I missed them at the shop and hadn't thought to try to turn another 3 into Obliteraters while they were still in the shop.

After a break to get outside because the postman had been able to fit the package through my letterbox that he hadn't been able to fit yesterday, I got the legionnaires out and after looking at the rota till the middle of April I think taking some things to do to unwind at work is going to be about the only way I'm going to get stuff painted.

Plan A is to get the first lot back in the box, and get a Fang base coat and crimson wash while the grand prix highlights are on tomorrow and get everything in a box to take to work to get brass on and then reikland flesh washed at least the Blood Angels Contemptors are long stalled and I'm going to try the gold pen I'd bought on them, and see how they work. 

. Mutilator Proxy

 The Mutilator proxies are coming on.

I did try 3 different base coats on these 3, the jaundiced looking one had a base coat of Averland Sunset one has Admistratum grey and ogryn camp.

I'd found an old chaos chain fist I've had for years so I spent some time getting that to fit on jaundice one. The trophy racks were tried but didn't stick when I started painting.

There are 3 more arriving today, which, when I get more time I'll convert to Obliteraters. Just need Wolf heads for them...

The only problem these guys have  is they stand to low so tactical rocks it is, the Obliteraters are going to have the same treatment, when I start those.

Plan A is to get at least the Russ grey layer on tonight and then work out what colours to do the fur on Saturday. And hopefully get these finished. 

Warhammer World Trip, Saturday the 21st of March

Okay the group went down to Warhammer World on Saturday, its been a few years and comments like that's new were said a lot. 

Nice game, the Imperium forces triumphed over the Orks. 

I used my coin jar money buying the Heresy era jump pack Astartes, they had a Forge World exclusive Cattaphrattii terminator Preator and the Malcador heavy tank the next up guard army. The first Hatchette issues with guard arrived on Friday. 

I liked the Erroll Fflyn pose that the Raven Guard Chapter master has going on here 

The Isstvann 5 display has had an update with some Satanine suits added and Ferrus duel gone
