Finished Some Things

I started out today by sleeping poorly, when I woke in the early afternoon, I double checked the Exodite box and pulled out Cru Ella Devile, with the plan to replace one of the Lords of Old Troupe with her as well as the Dire Avengers Exarch replacing the Wrack conversion I had been using. I remembered to pack the paints I needed today.
And part of the paints I packed was the black templar contrast stuff for the Knights, they got a dawnstone highlight when dry then I got around to the bases, I do like them, but there is so much effort needed to be put into them...

Looking great, my man! I know the feeling with loving the way something comes out, but putting too much work in to getting them that way. Painting White Scars had been exhausting. 🤣
Keep up the great work!

Paint the bases first. Simple trick to help, they don’t hang over the project then, and when the mini is done, that’s actually done so you can enjoy it, not come down with having to do its base!

It's more that my vision is blurry without glasses these days and I might miss something, like the stem on one of the roses that's growing on top of a pile of rubble on the base rather than "oh just the base now"
