In what is possible the most single surprising piece of news ever from Poxy Proxy Predator; The resin Leviathan dread is actually an easier build than the plastic kit. If only I hadn't lost the bag with the knee pads and second gun, and taken a photo... Oh well.
So, pre gaming the next Dread Filled Month by getting the 2 Leviathan dreads built. The plastic one was a way more complicated build than the already expert resin Leviathan. I'm a bit narked that I've sat on the resin Leviathan that long I've misplaced one of the bags that had the second weapon and the knee pads. I've got a couple of Leviathan dread legs coming from ebay to replace those, and I've got the Leviathan heavy weapon sprue on order from GW, and honestly the plastic autocannons are better than the resin ones.
So about those Autocannons.
You might not know this guy, even if you've trawled through the backlog of posts, it's from 2017, when the game group had a day trip to Warhammer World, 실버 다트, 데카라의 철가죽, Silver Dart, The Iron Hide Of Deccara was finally brought low after taking nearly 30 Dark Lance and Blaster shots, which is how I gave it the name Iron Hide. I always wanted to give this guy an upgrade but there just wasn't the parts available. Until now.
I've got a resin set of the quad autocannons and a plastic set as well. As I lost the other weapon package I need to buy the weapon sprue for another set of elbows and frankly the plastic quad autocannon looks better than the resin version, I'll probably mount those on the resin version and watch Iron Hide be one shotted in ever game I'll ever put him on the table in going forward.
I liked these little bits on the hip pates, my first instinct with these two was indicators, but a bit more thought would be one is the readout for the pilot and the other is the readout for the weapons and power plant.
One last bit is with the second weapon bag missing I'm giving the vulkite blasters to the resin version and the flamers are going on the plastic version.
