Jakhals and Lord On Juggernaut

 

I put the Jakhals together yesterday, along with the Lord on Juggernaut, with the plan to paint those week, the Berzerkers are planned for next weeks. The remaining squad of Berzerkers and mauler fiend are due next month, with another box of Jakhals planned for next month. 

The Jakhals kit itself is very good, and with the cad cam file there, could probably be turned into a Catachan squad pretty easily.

I'm planning to base coat them tonight, with 4 planned for wraith bone, 3 Dawn Stone and 3 moot green with a the plan to a contrast flesh coat before I call it a night.

Okay moot green did not work, I was hoping something I could pass off as Warp tainted chems and stims, but that looks really bad. I'll dig out some dwarf flesh to touch those 3 up tomorrow, but dawn stone grey and wraith bone both worked well. 

The plan is to do the leather in fang and crimson wash, shirts and pants will have a Leman Russ grey level, with the Greaves getting a Fenris grey coat to make them stand out

Onto the Lord on Juggernaut got The Fang base coat on as well as the crimson wash, finished just after 10pm tonight.

Tomorrow night and Thursday morning find the skin tone, get those 3 touched up, then Fang on the clothes of the Jakhals and crimson wash and the brass on the Juggernaut and rider.

 Thursday night getting the Leman Russ and Fenris grey on everything and weapons  which will leave bases to do and the Berzerkers to build for next week.
