3rd Wraithlord For The Exodites Of Telvig

Had a day off today, not even phone contact from work or anything... I polished off this guy, well painted, washed and them dry brushed this chap. Rather than use Nihilakh oxide as the wash and give it the ghost look I went with the sephia wash and aimed for a winter look. Weapons options of Missile Launcher, Star Cannon and Dark Lance are all interferance fit so easy to swop.

The Ghost Glaive has been magnetised.

Un Squated?

I caught this on Bols news feed on Facebook, http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2015/06/30k-did-forgeworld-just-sneak-back-the-squats.html, (cut and paste for now),

Basically in the Heresy Book 5 there are options for basic army grunts, one is for Adhumans , barely tolerated stable mutants like Beastmen or Ogryns

And the other is Survivor Of The Dark Ages Of Technology

Are the little guys making a limited come back?

Wraith Lord

While I kill time till payday I started messing round with the 3rd Wraith Lord

I green stuffed a spare head from the tree man kit onto the front of the canopy and added a tail as well as I've taken the pipes off this one and put it on another Lord.

The weapon load out as I only have one arm I'm using the cup of a Spirit Warrior on the other arm and mounting the old metal Star Cannon, DE Blaster as a counts as Bright Lance and a missile launcher. I added a bludgen from a DE Wrack as a hilt for the sword that yes has come from the Avatar kit I have in my counts as Dæmon army.

Options

Easy morning this morning. All I have done is add some magnets to the old Space Crusade Dreadnought, giving me the choice of guns on this venerable old chap.

One that I very much doubt will ever get used, twin linked heavy bolters.

Twin linked Auto Cannons, will sort this out so it sits smoothly.

Twin linked las cannons, the other weapon on these 3 photos is a heavy flamer and a dreadnought close combat weapon.

And lastly as a mortis pattern with a drop pod missile launcher.

The One Who Takes

As I have said my Harlequins are based on Batman characters. Now the problem I have is some of these don't translate well into an Eldar frame of reference so I was hoping you guys would help me out with giving the Batman or other source material inspired characters a more Eldar feel? I'm aware Mimes don't have any rules in game.
Here's what I've already got;
Joker (Troupe Master) - Cegorach
Harley Quinn(Shadow Seer)- The Mother
2 Face (Death Jester)- He of 2 Faces
Ras' Al' Ghul (Mime)- Dæmon Head
Bane (Mime)- The Brute of Comorragh
Greegann (Chorus)- The Crimson King
Milliner/ Mad Hatter (Chorus)- The Crowned Fool
Freeze (Chorus)- The Frozen Heart
Poison Ivy (Chorus) - Wild One
Pappa Lazarou (Mime)- The One Who Takes
Skeleton (Mime)- Bringer Of Night
Azreil (Chorus)- The Grey Knight
Scarecrow (Mime)- The Liar
Death Strike (Chorus)- Falcon.

So what do you think?

Finished off the Troupe based on Papa Lazarou, along with their Death Jester this week. Not much else has got done though. Plan on starting one of the Wraith Lords next, alongside magnetising the other Space Crusade Dreadnought next week. On Friday I'm buying the 2 Voidweavers and the plastic Death Jester, which I plan on painting up over the rest of the month.

June Monthly Vow

So what do I plan to not finish this month, well with all the hours I put in last month I'm due a good wage, unfortunately I also have to fix my boiler as well, so just the 2 Voidweavers and the Death Jester are planned buys this month. I have the 2 Wraithlords for the Exodites and plenty of bits to paint for them when I get threw with the Harlequin stuff for now. I'm part way through painting Troupe Lasarou, based on one of the more distutbing characters from The League Of Gentlemen, ( which is saying something), Pappa Lasarou, if you are American, European, African or Asian type in "Yer my wife now, Dave" on youtube and you'll see what I mean. I'm assuming the Austrialian and New Zealanders have seen the show. I found out last year I grew up in the place Steve Pemberton based 90% of Royston Vasey on, so it's no wonder I don't see weird.

I'm planning on adding the red coats tomorrow to them.
