Finished 5 of 6
I spent most of today getting Titus, and axe veteran done for the undivided 2 and the Khorne Champion, the last one left unfinished for the monthly vow was the Nurgle champion, he's almost finished, but I decided to add some green stuff to represent yellow alge growth on the armour.
Plan A for tomorrow is to build the Predator and start painting the penultimate squad of Berzerkers, after getting the alge painted.
Which means he's firmly in June to July's Vow now.

The 6 Veterans of the Sundering
This is just a small, almost a pallet cleanser, squad of Fallen, high ranking, Ultramarines, they followed Marines Calgar in his rage and frustration against the returned Avenging Son, the Lord of the 500 Worlds into the service of fell powers.
Tigirus is obviously now using his powers for evil and is a Sorcerer of Tzenncth.
Cato Sicarus is rumored to have a pair od ass less chaps in his cell to go with his purple and pink cape.
The Titus mini is just going to be largely as the guide suggests.
The Champion with 2 swords is going to have more brass than gold and blood for the blood god slashed about like claret in a bad cockney gangster film.
Of the remaining 2 1 will have to be hinting at nurgle, will have to if any of the old sprues I have have a weapon that might work.
The last mini is a test piece, yes I still have the hounds.
I had a Facebook advert for a Dark Star paints

Ultramarines Veterans Of The Sundering
I'd built these on Sunday while watching the touring cars at Oulton Park and then figured why not add the Librarian that would otherwise sit in perpetuity in the pile of shame.

Björn The Betrayer Fell Crusade
As I've nearly finished this central build of the army, with just the Ultramarines, 2 squads of Berzerkers, Mauler Fiend and Predator left to do from what's already been bought/is coming, what am I planning on adding to it?
I've already talked about 1 of the new Defilers for this, as well as a second squad of Jakhals, the only other things I'm thinking about in a serious way are Inner Circle Companions, with enough to make another 5 man veterans squad.
The next thing would probably be when the chaos bikers do get an upgrade would be a couple of squads of those just not sure how I'd paint them, plan A is White Scars and if the Helbrute gets another upgrade, add one of those to it. If Doom Rider comes back I might add that as well, but keep him in his own colours, story is the White Scars are the remains of the Kesig that was tasked with hunting Doom Rider, the unfortunate in the Dreadnought was the Khan that lost.
Beyond that, I'll wait for the Chaos Codex and World Eaters suppliment to come out.

Jakhals And Lord On Juggernaut 5th of June 2026
I finished these on Friday and got them packed away on Saturday.
As I've said I'm seriously thinking about getting a second box of these and trying to get a more wolfen look to them.
I tried something a little differently with the brass on the Juggernaut with a balthazr gold base coat, the reikland flesh wash and brass scorpion.
I built the honour guard on Saturday the 7th. Sunday I thought I might as well throw Tigrius in here as well, so built the one I got with Combat patrol.
The Berzerkers were built around making a Vietnamese Curry during Sunday afternoon.

Saved It
So after finding the blues I'm going to need next month for the fallen victrix honour guard I found some bugmans glow,
I gave these 3 a not quite dry brush to cover up that failed green experiment and checking them in good light this morning, they look fine.
Let's just hope I have the lenses, brushes and hand control to get those straps right tonight.
Tonight's objective was to get these to more or less the same point as the lord, which was a coat of Fang and a crimson wash, I gave the weapons, chains and stim tanks on their backs a black templare contrast coat.
Both elements have a couple of things left to do, the big belt buckle and the icon both need a brass base coat as dose one paldron and a couple of masks and the lord's horns need a sepia wash.
Plan A is to get those done first when I get home tomorrow, get the Russ gray layer on everything and then fenris grey, iron warrior, nuln oil and lead belcher on the weapons, chains and tanks before doing the brass bits.
