The Spirit Walkers, Wardens of the North, The White Walkers

Finished off the Spirit Walkers for Telvig,

These are the 3 I have already with the bits to do another 3 apart from weapons apart from heads.

I had this one modeled with the arm and gun mount, there is a magnet in the mount to swop the guns around if needs be.

2 arms with magnets underneath.

And double weapons on the shoulders.

Painted and added red eye lenses to all 3.

I even did the last base as well.

I have added a dry brush on this one since I took this photo.

Lady Aave

While I was exiled to my room yesterday while daughter and mother bonded over Orange Is The New Black, I got Lady Aave, Wraith Seer and Consort Queen of Telvig on her proper base.

Forge World Bulletin 7/3/16

THE LATEST NEWS FROM THE FORGE WORLD STUDIO

The Forge World Studio have been working hard over the years to give each of the Space Marine Legions unique elements incorporating their own heraldry and insignia. There are plenty of upgrade sets for armour; vehicle doors; transfers; etched brass; and, of course, Contemptor Dreadnoughts.

I spotted something new in the Studio this week, and it looks fantastic…

In other news, Mark Bedford’s been busy working on the Knights and Battle-automata that are making up his Dark Mechanicum force. Their hulls are the shade of weathered bone, which looks great contrasting the dark metal. Mark’s just added a Domitar Battle-automata to his already impressive force.

There'll be plenty more brilliantly painted models from the Forge World Studio team at Warhammer Fest. You can order your tickets now.

That’s all from me for now. Make sure you check back soon for more from the Forge World Studio

Last Night I Was Mostly Re - Basing Things

Does not look like a lot, okay it isn't a lot...
All I intended to do last night was get Telvig on the scenic base

Get the bike onto a base,

I glued it at the front wheel

And made a start on the 3 Spirit Walkers.

This one is just getting straight guns.

The middle one I'm keeping with arms and I think I'll have the last one with one arm and one gun mount on the other shoulder.
Just need to paint the last one up now and I'll have achived my target for this month!

What do you have to do to win one of these glorious, towering war machines? Place an order of £100 or more and then email us with your order number and answers to the following:

1. Choose a name for your Titan.
2. In 400 words or less, tell us how your Titan earned its glorious or infamous name.

You’ve got until 31st March to place your orders; and every order you make of £100 or more earns you another entry to the competition. The Shadow Spectors

Well this was a nice little change for me, 9 counts as Shadow Spectors

I took them out first thing this morning to get pics in the daylight.

This is the Exarch I got from eBay who I plan to run as the Phoenix Lord if I ever get this unit into play

Light Relief From The Dread Filled Month

I had a number of Death Jesters knocking around in the Harlequins box doing very little. I asked about how Shadow Spectors had been altered in volume 2 of IA 11 and they can now come in squads of 10 with an Exarch, some of the Raiders had to sacrifice their gunners to make this unit but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.

I started off by suddenly finding I had some slate in my pocket and some other stones, I don't know how they got there and I then fixed them to the bases with vast amounts of green stuff, good job I buy it in 3ft strips from Troll Trader.

Yesterday I dug out the gunners from the Raiders during the day and at night I added them to the stones.

And painted them all. Jesters and stones got a base of karahk stone then the Jesters got an oxide wash with a white dry brush, the stones got a mix of stone and Fang grey then a wash of nuln oil although I did leave one in stone with sepia wash.
Now to finish this unit off I plan to add a second of the new plastic Death Jester when I get paid next month so I don't need to use Mugan Ra in this squad.
