Bear Cavelry Is For Kids.

Came across this on Facebook today. This is not mine, I have nothing to do with this amazing piece of kit apart from posting them up here. So I'll see your Bear Cavelry and raise you this.

Yesterday Was A S.H.I.E.L.D Day

I'd started adding the Chapter Icon to the Storm Raven the other day and it suddenly dawned on me that I hadn't done the icons on the Dreads as well, so with having a short shift yesterday, and after changing my ebay password and texting a co-worker her hours for next week cos I'd had a hissy fit and screwed everyone round so I could have the weekend off I need, I broke out the beige skull, evil sunz scarlet and black for the swords. I also put got one of the older Glorious 1000 so I could see it side by side with one painted with the new orange, and it is a different shade, but with the nuln oil wash on it, as we used to say when I worked in a garage, "a blind man on a flying horse will never notice. I also watched the end of the first series of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and loved it, was surprised to see Samuel L Jackson in so much of it."

Would You Let Me Use These?

As I've said I intend to run the Knights of Blood as both a Blood Angels Chapter and a Codex Chapter using the Charcadons Chapter Tactic of Reavers Of The Outer Darkness, I even have a counts as Tiberous The Red Wake, and the counts as Seth can still be used just armed with The Teeth of Terra. now with Tiberous you can take a unit of Lightning Clawed armed Terminators as Troops, looking through the Forge World site I saw the Red Butchers and want them, rather badly, I think that they aren't that far away from the feel of what Charcadons are, just maybe deface with a touch of green stuff the obvious World Eater iconograph and I feel I can get away with this. Thoughts please?

Fracking Stupidity Of This Paper

The link below is to news that is big right now in this Britian, while it's sad that someone was murdered I feel the Daily Mail blaming it on Necromunder is massively wrong, we are talking a Doctor Cox level of sarcasm for this.

Forge World Bulletin 18

Forge World Bulletin 18 went live earlier today, conple of photos from the Heresy Weekender, a nicely painted Sicerian and the shiny new possessed.

Lone Missile Marine For The Glorious 1000

Little steps. While painting the Storm Raven and spraying the Baal Predator with it's base cost I also painted this Marine to go in The Glorious 1000 to replace the Marine I have with the RT Dreadnought Missile Launcher. As you can see he's been painted around various tasks, mostly to do with the Baal Predator, I could do with getting one of the older marines out and doing a side by side comparision for colours, and if it is different, well that world fell to Heresy/Tyranids/Tau and they just couldn't get the same shade no matter how far they have searched.

Ranting About Camo

Now to date every time I put the Glorious 1000 tanks up on Facebook I get flamed, my eyes, what the hell is that and other comments. Now heres the thing who knows what the terrain on an Exo planet is going to look like, from the comments I get all I can think is people think that Exo planets are going to look a cross between Griffith Park, The High Serria in California and the woods outside Vancouver, where standard NATO DPM would work well. But that does not go far enough, I will say Stargate did a better job of Exo planes than Star Trek, but by the end they where using the same quarry, woods and lake side as many times before. Stargate Universe did the best job of Exo planets in current sci-fi. So when I say camo what do you think? The Glorious 1000 Heavy Bolter team are painted up for night world/city fight, the missile team is painted up like an Amur Leopard for snow blizzard, the tanks are painted up for sulpher/iron dessert, but most people think this is wrong. Come on guys an Exo planet is not going to look like the North German plaines and woodland, the camo patterns you are used to are not going to work on every world in the Imperium. So in future when someone says camo think outside of the NATO DPM box in future, look up Rio Tinto in Spain, watch Top Gear when they go to Iceland and think what camo should I do for this place?
