Base Line for the Knights of Blood

Was making a base line for my Knights of Blood,  and took the chance to magnetise the axe head on Asteroth.

Happy, Happy Day

Tonight I get to start my 5th metal Caseterferrum Venerable Dreadnought to go alongside the Soul of the Legion The Warden in White, Guardian of the Legions Rites, The Herald Of The First Legion, The Wall Of Berlyn, The One Winged Angel.

And the Red Laird, he was formerly a Librarian dread for the Knights of Blood, but currently doesn't have a position as the Knights of Blood are on pause at the moment.

Update On The Dreads

I hear by solomly swear that I will not be buying another Dreadnought this year.

Before I packed away the Dreads I got all of them out to get a photograph.

The Telvig dreads, no plans to add anything to this lot bar the Wraith Knight but that's on hold for now.

Chaos Dreadnoughts Family Tree is done on the gw side, just the Contemptor from Forge World and a wait and see if the Deredo and Livvi get chaos corrupted versions.

All of the Knights of Blood dreads.

Will look at the weapons on these but I think that my plan will be to have them be counts as Contemptor Mortis patterns, just need to check the availability of guns. So no buying but can work on some dreads.

These I plan on working up into Deredos next year.

Monthly Vow, 12th of Feb to 12th of March

With that hole that was blown in my budget I didn't plan to get much done last month, which was a good job as I got the shit kicked out of me by my depression mid month.


Both of these are currently based with ushabati bone waiting to be painted, which is planned to be this month but could slide after I opened my big mouth (more on that later).


The Predator got done, the spare turret is waiting for an Autocannon, that I'm not looking at getting that this month, (big mouth again),


The Optimus Class Librarian Dreadnought finally got finished, sort of. Going to buy some 5mmx1mm magnets for the arms.

Actually got some paint on this guy.

And no idea of where this one went.
So plans for the coming month.



Strip the Dread and re-paint in pre Magnus Thousand Sons colours,


Touch up the trim and add the enforcement badge to this one.


And firstly and lastly I plan on making a Necron Knight out of K2 a doomsday ark, I also have a tomb blade coming and am watching some bits on ebay as well.

Finally fracking finished this one! Well not quite, I want some more 5mmx1mm magnets for the arms. But yes finished more or less!
It's been so long I can't go and do a build photo story as I normally would.

Some Painting!

Shock horror, I'very actually gone and painted something this month.


About the only time a flash is useful when painting a mini; showing where you need to touch up.

2nd Fire Dragon Exarch with pike, I just based coated this and will let it slide till next month I think.



And got the second fist started, the force sovnya can slide in and out of that fist, and will paint them tonight.

Monthly Vow Clarification

After checking my bank I've bought a few things a Mk1 Baal Predator for the Knights of Blood

A Fire Dragon Exarch with the Pike for the Exodites.

And a veteran with Lightening Claws that I'll be taking the arms off for the Cypher Chosen Formation.

Monthly Vow 12th of January to 12th of February

Well good ish news is I've managed to limit the hole in my budget to December, but I need to check my money before I commit to buying stuff. At least I'm looking at a Predator for The Knights of Blood and getting the squads of Veterans for the Chosen Formation at least made. Minor issue my game group has had is that the trip down to Warhammer World has had to be bumped from February to March and I'll see how much I have saved up for the as I'm planning on getting the Vindicator, Whirlwind and see if there's enough left over for the Possessed Contemptor.
So on to the review for December.



The old and the new Company Masters, both of these will leas a squad of Chosen.

As will this guy.

And 2 Bolter Marines for The Lion's Blades Devastater Squads.

And the 3 squads currently looking for a right hand lightening claw as well and lots of plasma guns.
