Shadow Highlanders General

Monday night I painted the converted Commissar up as the General for my Astra Militarum army.
Lt Gen Torres Holborn of the Shadow 72nd Highlanders.

Day light was that bad yesterday morning that I had to use a gorram torch to light the mini.



When the new rules drop I might swop that bolt pistol for one of the Prespero ones, depending on cost.

Astropath

I got the Gina mini in the box alongside Porco Rosso's plane, and I wanted to paint her in a memorable way. I re watched the film and the only options were a white dress or a purple one.

She is a single piece pre formed mini, so no choices on stance.
I checked my Guard Codex and as there isn't an option for Navigater I decided to use her as an Astropath advisor.

The dress is a base of Wazdakka red with 2 washes of Blood for the blood god and the bandage on her eyes is just a coat of Blood god again.

And with Marco Rosso line, ace pilot from the same low gravity home world.

Imperial Naval Liasion Officer

As a break from the bandwagoning this week I though I'd get Porcco Rosso out of storage and paint him up for my Guard Army.

The light was going today when I took this, one disadvantage of working nights.

And the finished Navy Fleet Air Arm Captain, "Porcco " Rosso Auditatri.
