I was trying something different with these 3, I used 3 different base coats, raketh flesh, Zandari dust and ushabati bone, then I hit them with the contrast flesh tone I have. There are some subtle differences in the flesh colour, so I'm going to try again with some colours further apart on the colour wheel. The Mutilator squad I've knocked up yesterday seem a good idea for this. 

I bought issue 2 of spearhead to try this out, the theory I've worked out in my head is these are space wolves that the Canis Helix has gone out of balance, but they're still useful to throw at the enemy. 

I got the Fang base coat and crimson wash on the at home, then transported them with some paints to work as I was on a double sleep last week. 

They got the Russ grey then fenris grey highlight. The Astartes helmet on the power pack of the middle guy had an agrax earthshade wash over the Fang base coat to see if there would be a difference in the 2 styles.

I like how they've come out, and I will try the different base coats under the contrast flesh tone next time, dig out the XV88, the avaland sunset and a brown, and see how the multlators end up.
