1st Legion Praetor

 This isn't a 1st Legion Praetor, this is actually going with the squad of Inner Circle Companions. 

It took a very long time for this to come back in stock. I never actually checked if all those out of stock items are back on the GW Web store.

It's been so hot and long the ushabati bone had dried up, so this one got a screaming skull base coat, a coat of abandon black on the armour and 3 coats of carroburg crimson on the robes.

I went with the green highlights to keep it in theme with the Inner Circle Companions. The robes had a dry brush with evil sun scarlet. 

The head had a coat of darkoath flesh contrast.

The base I'm going to add  astrogranit technical.

I have an odd day coming up this week which should allow me to grad some replacement paints.

Packing the last member of the Risen with the rest of the squad. Maybe needs a tactical rock for the preator to stand on for the added height. 

Bits Done

I was sat looking at this this week when I wasn't doing other stuff. 

I remembered that I have a couple of new on sprue Gregor Fell Hand and thought I should probably use one of those lightning claws on the left hand. I'm using the axe from the Deamon Prince sprue. 

The power pack has been green stuffed onto the back and the arms are green stuffed on the shoulder plates, which have also been moved around. 

I'm thinking of adding the topper from the power pack, either on the skull in the middle or on the clipped off exhaust stub. 

Monthly Vow 12th of August to the 12th of September.

 Yeah, so that run of no time off is still ongoing. By the time I get to my week of at the end of the month I will have had 5 days off since June the 28th. The wages have been great but I'm not getting a damn break, my day off is spent clearing and cooking.

Plan A at least get a couple of the Terminators built from the Space Wolf Terminators and get some practice on the paint scheme I'm using on the Satanine Preator. With some of the issues at work I'm dealing with, I'll be happy to get those done.

Not much to review

I clipped off the Satanine close combat weapons to see how they'd look on the Bjorn. Definitely better
