Games Workshop Community News 6/12/16
I'll make a prediction based on the last paragraph that a few children won't get their Christmas wish list fulfilled.
Adepta Sororitas – Canoness Veridyan
Yesterday, we took a very quick look at the upcoming Codex: Imperial Agents book, and it’s looking very exciting (unless you’re a heretic, of course…).
This book isn’t accompanying a new range of miniature, but we couldn’t let the release of a new book containing so many awesome sub-factions under the Imperial aegis pass without some sort of model to mark the occasion. So, our Studio Team set sculptor Martin Footit the task of creating an iconic miniature to accompany the book – and he didn’t disappoint.

Many of you veteran collectors out there will recognise the fearsome warrior maiden Canoness Veridyan from the John Blanche illustration on the cover of the original Codex: Sisters of Battle. She is every inch the faithful representation of that iconic figure from two decades past, from her archaic bolt-pistol to her sanctified power sword and even down to the engraved heretic skull under her power-armoured boot.

You will be able to pre-order Adepta Sororitas Canoness Veridyan this weekend, and she will only be available while stocks last. She’ll also be accompanied by a new selection of Made to Order miniatures, from the Inquisition, Ecclesiarchy and Adepta Sororitas range, including some classics not available for years.

Big Day
Proxy is off on a road trip next February, along with 5 mates we are off down to Warhammer World, got the table booked yesterday!
My 12 Dreadnoughts and 3 Marine army is going to look so lost on this table, good job everyone else is taking 2000 point as well.
If we do go down in 2018 I'm taking a fricking Guard army so I can outnumber them all for once.

The Hammers Of Caliban
I've got 3 of these now, 1 complete and 2 at 75%, but I'm waiting in a trip down to Warhammer World in February next year to get the 2 tanks that I'm missing currently.
Formation Lance, Predators and a Redeemer.
Formation Breaker, Vindicators and a Crusader, I plan to add the Forge World Laser version when we go down next year to finish off this one.
Formation Barrage, Whirlwinds and a Mk1 Land Raider. I'm adding a plastic Whirlwind to this formation when we go down next year.

2 Oldhammer Whirlwinds
This week I have mostly been off work and playing Assassins Creed, I left any 40k till tonight.
As I'd already sprayed them black I just added the chapter badge and the XIX Order number. And on one I added some battle honours, this time mostly places I've played or been and Wolf 359.
When I get home this morning I'll give the Land Raider the badge of this formation and it's unit number.
The last one of this formation is getting bought down at Warhammer World when I get down there. Note to self, ring them in the morning before I go to bed.
