Heresy Weekender Knicked Photos

Painting Binge.

Busy working lots of hours, just home to sleep, lucky this location is close to home so travel time is 15 minutes walking, but 9pm finish is not giving me much time to do anything. Got some of the heavy weapons glued today and planning on getting the Blades done today. That Plasma gun is going to the Blades, with one of theirs going to the Knights of Blood. One of the Missile Launchers is going to The Glorious 1000 as well the Las Cannon and Heavy Bolter.

Next Up

Already got my next day offs work planned, 2 Plasma Cannons, 2 Multi Meltas for The Lions Blades, 10 Bolter Marines, not pictured, a couple of Missile Launchers, one for The Glorious 1000 the other is for the Knights of Blood, not pictured, along with the Las Cannon and the Heavy Bolter. I do have a mk1 Baal Predator on it's way as well that I'm planning on painting up with a red based camo pattern akin to that used in the Amtrak Wars Series, pictured is The Lady From Louisianna.

95% Finished

Sunday was an easy day and this morning was spent helping out a friend with some bits and pieces, I got the wings on the various parts done with a dry brush vallejo model color 143, and touched in some bits and bats. All the bits done and dry brushed and photographed, while I do feel I took a lot on with this project, getting the 2 builds on one chassis, I think I've done a good job and I'm proud of what I've done on this one. Next up The Lion's Blades Dev Squad bolters, 2 extra Multi Meltas and 2 extra Plasma Cannons to give me the option of 4 Heavy Bolters, 4 Missile Launchers, 4 Las Cannons, 4 Multi Meltas and 4 Plasma Cannons. The 10 Bolters will take me up to a full Company.

WIP Eurovision Night

While overwhelmed with paint yesterday I did get the job done. I painted and I painted black, wazzdakka red, a dry brush of evil sunz scarlet and lead bleacher and a nuln oil wash before bed, leaving me another evil sun scarlet dry brush to do today before starting on details, should have these 2 Dreads finished today. And the missiles are going to be DU, was asking on facebook last night the colours for various shells and Depleted Uranium is, depending on the service blue or light orange.

Overwhelming Myself...

Feeling refreshed after a good nights sleep and a nap yesterday afternoon, so came down this morning and went through the Marines that finially arrived, sorting out 10 to put in the Dev Squads and started painting up the Dreadnoughts. The disadvantage to giving myself all these options is I now have to paint all those parts...

How It Looks

After my 6 hour shift yesterday I got back home and tried the bits I'd done on the chasis, Ironclad front piece, Death Company front piece, and the hands are all interchangable as well. I picked up some more glue yesterday as well and will get the 2 hands done during Saturday. I also got a message from the seller on Ebay yesterday that was overcharging on postage and he should have posted both squads with some extras as well to make up for the delay, his reason does check out, so at last The Lion's Blades will be finished, and some more Marines for The Knights of Blood. I've also included the 3rd Ironclad as I'll be painting that at the same time as the multi role dread and the last 10 Dev Marines and the old Multi Melta Marine. Still after another one of those and 2 plasma cannons but I do have something on watch on ebay that could net me the Plasmas, just leaves me the multimelta and a couple of Marines to carry them.
